More About Deborah:
Deborah went to undergraduate school at Smith College, Northampton, MA and earned her BA in 1969.
She received her Masters Degree in Social Work, specializing in Clinical Practice, from the Bryn Mawr College School of Social Work, Bryn Mawr, PA, in 1972.
She worked in Community Mental Health for over 5 years before coming out to California to study Holistic Health, Transpersonal Psychology, Spiritual Practices and the cultivation of Intuition (one's inner knowing.)
In 1979, after getting a California License in Clinical Social Work, Deborah started her Private Practice, which she is still presently enjoying.
In the 80's Deborah discovered the paradigm and practice of Voice Dialogue, the Psychology of Selves and the Aware Ego Process, as taught by the originators, Dr.'s Hal and Sidra Stone. She developed a new way of understanding the dynamics of couples and the possibility of Partnering, which she now sees as a rare, viable form of "sustainable intimacy." After many years of study and training with the Stones, Voice Dialogue became, and continues to be, one of Deborah's strongest specialties.
