Deborah's classes are a powerful venue for individuals and couples to work on themselves with peers and learn from each other's sessions and life experiences. A community of healing is created within the classes through intimate sharing and compassionate recognition. Deborah cultivates an atmosphere of safety and respect within the circle that encourages everyone to work at the pace and level that is right for them.
Along with Deborah's teaching and offering of sessions, participants are encouraged to do related reading and specific practices for "homework" that translate class experiences into day to day life choices. The ongoing structure of the classes supports each individual to pick an area of their life to transform.
Examples of what can be worked on include: learning how to change a pattern that is problematic in an intimate relationship or the work arena; deepening one's ability to be powerful or vulnerable appropriately; separating from lifelong, generational family habits that no longer serve; and an expansion into new ranges of expression, spirituality, and creativity.
Learning Voice Dialogue and receiving sessions in the class form an integral part of the teaching process. Classes are designed to be experiential, rather than intellectual or abstract.
